This week the Senior Student Team interviews have been taking place, and the students who are successful will leave their mark on the school, just as their predecessors have.

Year 13 students Sam and Imaan who currently chair our Community Committee, are helping to shape the future of youth provision in the local area, and you can Sam's review of their latest meeting below:

"Imaan and I, as members of the Community Committee, have had the privilege to discuss the idea and implementation of a new place for young people, not just those from Charters, to go to after school and on the weekend.

This week we met with Police Constable Michelle Race, Councillors Genevieve Gosling and Lydia Davison West.

During our talk, we decided on questions which will be used for a survey to gauge what people would want, where the most convenient location would be, and what to include when it first opens."

We are enormously proud of the impact our students make to our school and local community, and look forward to unveiling the newly appointed Senior Students in the coming weeks.
