Duke of Edinburgh Award

July 2021

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards are nationally recognised and involve a whole host of activities such as helping people or the community, getting fitter, developing skills, and going on an expedition.

These awards have been running at Charters School since 2008. In September 2010 we started working with an external provider Wilderness with an exciting programme tailored to the needs of our students.

More information is available on the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Website.

The documents below will tell you a little more about the awards, give you ideas for volunteering and access templates to record your activities. If you would have any queries regarding the School's Duke of Edinburgh programme, please contact Mr Taylor.
