Careers Fair 2024

Our external careers advisers are employed by Learning to Work, who provide our students with independent and impartial careers information, advice and guidance. 

In conjunction with Learning to Work, students from Year 8 through to Year 13 were able to visit our annual Careers Fair in the Main Hall to discover information about possible future pathways and have interesting conversations with exhibitors.

As well as manning stalls which housed a wealth of information regarding their organisations, some exhibitors went one step further offering brownies and flapjacks in the case of IFG! It was fascinating to hear about the range of careers which support the smooth running of our school catering; from finance, human resources and IT, through to dieticians and chefs.

One of our Year 10 students said,  "It's been great to be able to speak to people about jobs and careers that you know nothing about," while a Year 13 student said, "It's a really great opportunity to speak with those who already have experience in the industry I'm interested in."

The Careers Fair is just one example of our commitment to provide excellent career guidance and insights for all students throughout the academic year.
