Teaching Assistant

The school is seeking to appoint an additional Teaching Assistant to join our large existing team.  The purpose of the role is to assist the classroom teacher in the provision of learning and educational opportunities.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate good communication skills to support a student’s independent learning by explanation and encouragement.   

This role is for a named student and will only be in place for the duration the student is at Charters School.   The role will include providing intimate care for the student and candidates should have experience of lifting, handling and provision of personal care.

Hours:   30 hours per week, term time only

Salary:   Scale 2c Point 3, actual salary £16,760 (FTE £24,442)
