Children's Mental Health Week 7 - 13 February
This week in assemblies we have been focusing on Children’s Mental Health Week and looking at prioritising the development of our students' mental and physical needs. In these assemblies, students have been given tips for better sleep alongside other changes they could try to improve their wellbeing; small changes, which create a big impact.
As part of the assembly we have also shared the School Wellbeing Plan. Developed alongside Award Place, as part of our work towards achieving the Wellbeing School Award, for our continued commitment to developing students not only academically but also emotionally and socially with a focus on wellbeing and mental health. During the next term, students will be finding out more about our services and some exciting new ways of gaining mental health support at the school.
