Sowers & Growers Garden

Over the past year we have transformed a once-forgotten corner of Charters School into a nurturing and dynamic space we call the Sowers and Growers Garden.

It is more than just plants and soil. It’s the heart of a new alternative provision created for students who may struggle within mainstream education.

Through personalised support, structured outdoor learning, and opportunities to develop life and social skills, this programme empowers students to:

Bridge academic gaps

Build confidence and resilience

Foster positive relationships

The early impact has been remarkable, with students already showing growth in both learning and self-esteem.

While the garden remains a work-in-progress, the spirit behind it is already flourishing — and it’s thanks to the support of the people and companies listed below who are helping us create something that can truly change lives.
