For our students to truly thrive, passive knowledge acquisition is no longer enough. We must empower them to become leaders, creators, and critical thinkers who possess the technological fluency required for the workplace. Our tagline, ‘Learning Without Limits’, reflects our commitment to removing barriers to learning and providing every student with an equal opportunity to access a world-class, digitally enhanced curriculum.

Our Rationale

This initiative is not simply about providing a piece of hardware; it is about pedagogical transformation. By moving to a 1:1 model, we can:

  • Enhance Learning: Provide immediate access to a wealth of digital resources, interactive textbooks, and collaborative tools.
  • Prepare for the Future: Foster the adaptive skills employers are looking for, such as curiosity, digital literacy, and analytical thinking.
  • Increase Inclusivity: Utilise digital scaffolding and accessibility features to support every student's individual needs.
  • Maximise Opportunities: Create a fluid transition between learning at school and at home.

How does the iPad Scheme work?

From Summer 2027, our iPad Scheme provides all students in Years 7 and 8 with an Apple iPad to use every day to support their learning. For further information about the scheme please see our Information Booklet for Parents. This also includes frequently asked questions.

Where children join us mid-year or part way though their school journey, we will work with parents to facilitate the scheme as necessary.
