Year 5 Open Evening Showcases the Best of Charters

Charters School was delighted to welcome so many prospective Year 5 students and their families to our Open Evening, giving visitors the opportunity to discover everything that makes our school such a vibrant and inspiring place to learn.

Families explored the school using our 'Map of Discovery', enjoying a wide range of interactive activities across departments. From spectacular live science demonstrations and drama games to food tasting, design technology, art, languages, maths challenges and sporting activities, there was something to engage and inspire every visitor. Our extensive enrichment programme, Duke of Edinburgh's Award and student-led projects including the Charters Chronicle also highlighted the wealth of opportunities available beyond the classroom.

A particular highlight of the evening was the wonderful atmosphere created by our talented Music students, who, alongside Head of Music Mr Hoare, provided a fantastic soundtrack throughout the event. Their performances helped create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who attended.

We were incredibly excited to showcase our school to prospective families looking to begin life at Charters in 2027 and share what makes the Charters community so special. A huge thank you goes to all of our staff and students who generously gave up their time to support the evening. Our students were exceptional ambassadors, proudly sharing their experiences and helping visitors gain a real insight into life at Charters.
