The Charters School community came together for a fantastic Sports Day, celebrating athletic achievement, teamwork and school spirit across three wonderful events for our Learning Support students, Sixth Form and Main School.

Throughout the day, our school values of Unity, Respect and Excellence were on full display. From the first race to the final relay, students supported one another, demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and gave their very best in every event.

The school was transformed into a vibrant sea of colour as students and staff proudly wore their House colours. The blue of the Eagles, the red of the Panthers and the green of the Bulldogs created an incredible atmosphere, with enthusiastic cheering and encouragement echoing around the track and field throughout the day.

Whether competing in sprint races, field events or relays, students showed remarkable determination, resilience, motivation and pride in representing their Houses. Every point mattered, and every competitor played their part in making the day such a memorable success.

Congratulations to our winning Houses:

The excitement continued right to the very end with a hugely entertaining staff relay, which brought plenty of smiles, laughter and enthusiastic support from students. It was the perfect finale to a day that celebrated not only sporting success but also the strong sense of community that makes Charters School so special.

A huge thank you goes to our PE Department, staff, officials, volunteers and students whose hard work, organisation and enthusiasm ensured the day ran so smoothly. Sports Day 2026 was a wonderful reminder that success is about more than winning - it is about striving for excellence, showing respect for others and coming together as one community.

Well done to everyone who took part. You did your Houses, and yourselves, proud.
