FoCS Race Night Fundraiser Success
Last Friday evening, the Sixth Form Common Room at Charters School was transformed as the Friends of Charters School (FoCS) hosted a spectacular Race Night fundraiser – and what a night it was!

With green neon lighting setting the scene (thanks to Josh and Abby for creating such a fantastic atmosphere), parents, staff and friends gathered for an evening packed with laughter, friendly competition and community spirit. The room buzzed with excitement as each race unfolded, cheers erupting as hopeful winners crossed the finish line.
The evening was brilliantly compared by the wonderful Miss Joel, whose energy, quick wit and humour kept everyone entertained from start to finish.
A huge thank you goes to Karrie and Sam for organising such a successful event. Their hard work and dedication ensured everything ran smoothly, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire Friends of Charters team for their support behind the scenes.

We are also extremely thankful to all the generous local businesses who made the event possible. Blueberry Dentist for sponsoring the evening, Ascot Racecourse and Tesco for donating our raffle prizes and Fireaway for providing some pizza for free and the remainder at a discount. We would also like to thanks those who sponsored each race: Chapman's, Jason Charles Jewellery, Croma Locksmiths, Simmons Village Butchers and Scrumpticious. Your support makes a real difference to our school community.
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone who attended, an amazing £1,293.15 was raised. Every single penny will go directly towards supporting students at Charters School, helping to enrich their school experience and provide valuable opportunities.
It was a fantastic evening that truly showcased the strength and warmth of the Charters community. Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, sponsored and supported – we can’t wait for the next one!
