Celebrating Success in the UKMT Mathematical Olympiad for Girls 2025

Six of our talented A Level Further Maths students recently took part in two prestigious UKMT national events aimed at inspiring young female mathematicians. 

Congratulations must go to Sophie (Year 13) and Phoebe (Year 12) for earning Merit Certificates in the 2025 UKMT Olympiad for Girls, a demanding 2.5-hour challenge consisting of 5 advanced Mathematical questions requiring full written solutions.  A true test of reasoning, creativity, and perseverance. 

We also celebrate Chloe, Valentina, Lottie and Nina for successfully participating the a new 60 multiple-choice-question UKMT Mathematical Competition for Girls, and for attaining three Merits and a Distinction between them!  

These are tough challenges and the results are absolutely terrific!  Their love of problem-solving and higher order critical thinking was clear to see as they eagerly discussed their answers soon after the challenges ended.  They are amazing mathematicians and we are very proud of them all.
