On Tuesday 30 September we celebrated the achievements of students who did not sit external examinations during the last academic year. Students from Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 were recognised for their Attitude to Learning and the Excellence of their work at our annual Celebration of Achievement evening. Special awards were also presented to those who exemplify our values of Unity, Respect and Excellence.

We were delighted to welcome alumna Lucy Alexandra Spencer as our guest speaker. Lucy, an award-winning education entrepreneur and CEO of Education Boutique, has built one of the UK’s leading providers of alternative provision and tutoring, supporting thousands of young people with special educational needs. Her inspiring career has taken her across the globe, working with children of billionaire families and international royalty, and her expertise has been recognised by outlets such as CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.

Lucy shared her journey from Charters student to global leader in education, highlighting how the school’s values of Unity, Respect and Excellence have guided her path. She encouraged our students to see their own experiences at Charters as the foundation for future success, reminding them that the lessons they are learning today can be the launchpad for extraordinary achievements tomorrow.

The evening, always strongly supported by parents, remains one of our most prestigious events. It was a wonderful opportunity for all those connected with Charters School to come together and celebrate the hard work, dedication and successes of our students.
