Year 11 Celebrate Final Assembly with Laughter, Fun Awards and Memories

Following their final English Language exam this morning, our Year 11 students gathered in the Sixth Form Common Room to mark the end of an unforgettable chapter in their school journey. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and nostalgia as students chatted excitedly and tucked into some tasty cakes. Shirt signing quickly became a flurry of felt tips and fond messages, with friends and classmates capturing final memories of their time together in Key Stage 4.
At 11.45am, the year group made their way to the Main Hall for their Final Assembly - an emotional and uplifting celebration of their years at Charters. Tutors and support staff joined students to reflect on their shared experiences, achievements, and growth.
Head of Year Mr Devine led the assembly which featured the ever-popular “Most Likely To” awards, offering a light-hearted look back through the years with nominations from both students and staff that sparked plenty of laughter and applause. Teachers got their share of fun certificates too as voted for by the students such 'Best Dress Teacher' - won for the third consecutive year by our stylish Music Maestro Mr Hoare.
The event brought together the whole Year 11 community, offering the chance to celebrate, reminisce and look forward to the future. We will be welcoming many of the students to our Sixth Form in September, but as they said their goodbyes to Key Stage 4, there was a genuine sense of pride and unity - a perfect send-off for a remarkable year group.
