Success in the Royal Ascot Schools Art Competition 2025

We are thrilled to share that three of our talented students have achieved recognition in the prestigious Royal Ascot Schools Art Competition 2025. Competing with hundreds of entries from schools in the local area, their creativity and skill truly stood out to the judges.
Esmé (9A) was named Overall Winner in the Age 14 category. Her exceptional artwork not only earned her a £50 Amazon voucher, but also secured £1,000 in art funding for the school. A remarkable achievement!
Fabien (8A) was also awarded Overall Winner, this time in the Age 11–12 category. His inspiring piece won £1,000 for the school’s art department and a £50 Amazon voucher for himself.
Matilda (7D) received Runner-Up in the Age 11–12 group, receiving a £25 Amazon voucher in recognition of her outstanding artistic effort.
These accomplishments reflect the incredible talent, hard work, and passion our students bring to the arts. We are immensely proud of Esmé, Fabien, and Matilda for representing the school with such creativity and excellence.
The art competition has been running since 2018 and each year winning entries are displayed in the Ascot Heath Tunnel, creating a colourful walkway for both Royal Ascot visitors and local residents.
Esmé, Fabien and Matilda - along with art teacher Miss Wooten - were invited to the Victoria Cup Raceday which took place on Saturday, 10th May, to enjoy a celebratory prize-giving tea. The artwork will be added to the Heath Tunnel in time for Royal Ascot this June.
Congratulations to all three of them — and a big thank you to our art teachers for encouraging our students to enter.
