The school community came together this week for a heartfelt and memorable final assembly to celebrate the incredible journey of our Year 13 students as they prepare to head off on study leave and begin their final exams.

The assembly was filled with warm reflections, shared memories, and a few emotional moments as staff and students alike marked the end of an important chapter. Laughter echoed through the hall as photos and stories from the past two years reminded everyone of the friendships, milestones, and achievements that have defined this remarkable cohort.

Mr Metson, Head of Year 13, praised the year group for their spirit and resilience, sharing this message with the students:

"The class of 2025 are an absolutely fantastic year group who have done superbly well over these last two years and it was a real pleasure to celebrate with them both in terms of their last formal day and assembly before study leave and indeed last week's May Ball. They are an absolute credit to themselves and I speak on behalf of all the Sixth Form teachers and support staff in wishing them all the best in the upcoming exams and beyond!"

The final assembly - where students donned the uniforms they last wore in Year 11 - followed a wonderful evening at the May Ball last week. Here, our Year 13 students celebrated in style – a perfect send-off filled with elegance, joy, and a few tears of goodbye.

We are incredibly proud of everything the Class of 2025 has accomplished and we look forward to hearing about all the amazing things they will go on to achieve. Good luck in your exams – you’ve got this!
