What do you think makes Charters Sixth Form special?
Charters Sixth Form is a cross section of the community allowing young adults from all walks of life to come together to learn in a safe and pleasant environment.
How do staff support the Sixth Form students and their parents?
Charters Sixth Form supports both students and parents in a variety of ways. For the parents, they are able to make informed choices by the information provided to them via emails, information evenings and in some cases, by telephone. For the students, I would say that Charters has created an informed and experienced team which support the whole student. Charters Sixth Form works with both students and parents to foster independence within the student.
What support is offered in terms of preparing for ‘Life After Charters’?
A wide range of information is pushed out to both parents and students about the various career routes. There are also well-informed careers advisors on hand to help guide and inform.
What do you think students most enjoy about Sixth Form?
Their friends and their newly found independence.
5. What one thing have you been most impressed with at Charters Sixth Form?
Charters treat all students as individuals and not just a number. When you are contacted with information, the communication always feels personal.
