A week-long celebration of careers #NCW26

FREE PARENTS' GUIDE TO CAREERS

In collaboration with National Careers Week, the free Parents' Guide to Careers below provides valuable insights into vocational pathways after GCSE and Sixth Form, including apprenticeships, T-levels, and work experience. It also explores the future of work with AI, helping parents understand the career opportunities available to their teens and the impact of emerging technologies on the job market.

CAREERS & CONNECTIONS EXPO '26

To complement National Careers Week our school has curated a dynamic range of events which focus on all things careers-related. Students will welcome speakers from a range of diverse backgrounds into their assemblies to hear about the individual career paths and journeys our guests have taken since leaving full time education.

The Careers Fair will feature apprenticeships, university pathways and careers many of our students didn't even know exist yet! Students will be able to talk with employees from organisations linked to business and finance, engineering and technology, and those associated with public service and health, to discover first-hand what a career in these sectors could look like.

Alongside their usual lessons, staff across the school will be incorporating careers into their teaching — whether through a thought-provoking starter activity, a short film, or a more in-depth project linking curriculum learning to future pathways.
