Acts of Kindness
We are proud to launch a brand-new initiative: Acts of Kindness. This programme aims to build empathy, compassion and a stronger sense of community by encouraging students and staff to perform — and recognise — everyday acts of kindness.
Whether it’s helping a classmate, showing thoughtfulness to staff, or simply being friendly and considerate around school, kindness matters. If a teacher or adult notices a student doing something kind, they’ll receive an “Act of Kindness Achievement Point” on Arbor or a staff member will sign and date their Acts of Kindness card which every students has been issued with this week.
Each Friday, staff will nominate someone whose kindness has gone above and beyond. Those small daily choices — being friendly, generous, helpful or considerate — will now be rewarded.
At Charters, where a broad curriculum, strong pastoral care, and a commitment to inclusion and personal development are already central to school life, this initiative will help strengthen relationships, promote civility, and create a more inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

With Acts of Kindness, we aim not just to encourage good behaviour — but to build a community of compassion, respect and unity.
We can’t wait to see how our students and staff brighten the days of those around them.
