31st Jan 2022

The Photography department is once again taking part in the Rotary Young Photographer Competition, and the 2022 entries have been outstanding.

This competition aims to encourage young people to:

• Experiment with photography
• Use digital or traditional methods of photography
• Show interpretation of their chosen topic
• Express their ideas through the medium of photography

The school had to decide which entries to submit to the first round of the competition and three judges considered the images which were based on the theme 'Colour in Nature'.

The School entry winners are …

1st place –  Sophie 7E

2nd place –  Finlay 9C & Toulouse 11C

3rd place – Aryan 11C & Ava 12 Green 2

Well done to everyone that participated in this competition – it has been great to see your viewpoint of nature.

Each participant will receive a certificate and earn House points.

The top three winning entries from Charters will be put forward for the Local Area level of the Rotary competition. Successful winners from this category will then move on to Regional and National level awards.
