Priority Places for Staff Children

The Charters School Admissions Policy includes a category of admission relating to the children of staff, who may be given priority in the allocation of student places at the school if either of the following criteria are met:

• Where the member of staff has been employed at the school for two or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the school is made; and/or
• The member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skills shortage*

*The first Board of Trustees meeting in each academic year will receive information from the Headteacher about the current subject or skills shortage.
