Additional Information: I won the League and Cup for Ascot. I am the captain.

Sport: Aerobic gymnastics.

Winning gold individual/trio medal in World Potential Cup 2007 Welsh Open.
Dream/Aspirations:
To win the European Championship.

Emma Bailey

Sport: Badminton.

Being part of the winning team in the U11 National Doubles.
Dream/Aspirations:
To play for Berkshire for as long as I can and maybe even go a stage higher like the Commonwealth Games.
Other hobbies: Synchronised swimming; rounders in summer.

Lasse Bak-Hansen

Sport: Squash and Basketball.
Time spent per week on my sport: Squash - 1 hour/ 2 hours every 2nd week for County;
Basketball - 3½ hours.
Highest achievement:
Squash - I won the U13s County Cup and am in the U15s County team. Basketball - I am currently in the Schools County Team.
Dream/Aspirations:
I would love to be able to get into the Guildford Heat national team and be able to earn money at university by coaching tennis, basketball or squash.
Other hobbies: Tennis.

Douglas Bergquist

Sport: Football (Reading FC).
Time spent per week on my sport: 12 hours.
Highest achievement:
Getting into the semi-final of a Dutch tournament, loosing to an African team which went on to win.
Dream/Aspirations: To become a professional footballer playing in the Premiership and my country.
Other hobbies: Rugby, golf and athletics.
Additional Information:
I have another year on my contract with Reading. I also do day-release and have every Wednesday off to play at Reading for 6 hours.

Liam Bourke

Sport: Swimming, basketball, football.

Swimming - 6 times a week (9 hours); basketball - every day for ½ to 1 hour; football - 5 hours.
Highest achievement:
Basketball - county team; football - used to play for QPR, Southampton and Surrey County.
Dream/Aspirations: To swim in 2012 Olympics. To go to America to play basketball. To get scouted again and become pro.
Other hobbies: Golf; go-karting, tennis, ice-skating.
Additional Information: Captain for Ascot United on Saturday.

Adrian Clay

Sport: Sailing.
Time spent per week on my sport:
sometimes after school (3-4 hours); every weekend (7-10+ hours).
Highest achievement:
Winning 3 national races, competing at the Europeans in 2006 in Ledro, Italy. Winning the team racing.
Dream/Aspirations: To sail in the Olympics, In the America's Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race.
Other hobbies: Speedboat training, wakeboarding, shooting, windsurfing.

Kashia Dobson

Sport: Tennis.
Time spent per week on my sport: 4 hours during the week and matches most weekends.
Highest achievement:
Playing for Surrey in County Shield in 2007.
Dream/Aspirations:
To be a good tennis player representing Surrey.
Other hobbies: Piano.
Additional Information: Trained with Greg Rusedski for a day at Roehampton Tennis Centre; went on BBC London News (in background); came 2nd in County Finals in 2005.

Will Ellison

Sport: Cricket.
Time spent per week on my sport:
2 hours district, 2 hours in Wokingham, 5 hours with brother,
1 hour at school.
Highest achievement:
Scoring 60 against Reading District; taking 5 wickets against Hurst for Wokingham; nominated for best in district.
Dream/Aspirations:
To reach Berkshire this year, play well and get a few fifties and bowl well. In the future get into Surrey trials and build myself into the team, get a proper contract, then go onto England and captain England.
Other hobbies: Nominated for County trials for best 3 in my district; captained school, Wokingham and District teams; won the league with District.

Sport: Athletics.

8 hrs + home fitness plan to do every day.
Highest achievement:
Pole vault 3.50m; High jump 1.8m. Competed in both U17 and U20 National Finals with WSEM.
Dream/Aspirations:
To reach the 2012 Olympics.
Other hobbies: Hockey - Music (Drums + Guitar).
Additional Information: I love sport! I also played hockey at County level.

Rosie Gosztonyi

Sport: Badminton.
Time spent per week on my sport:
I spent 3 years doing clubs and training and I have just started proper County training.
Highest achievement: 1 st girl in National Championships 2005.
Dream/Aspirations:
To play proper county and not just in a back-up squad.
Other hobbies: Football, swimming and swim-fit.
Additional Information: Every week in swim-fit I do about 50-60 laps in total, which takes half an hour including warm-up.

International medallist in 2006 at the Belgian Open.

To be a World medallist or Olympic Medallist at the London 2012 games.

Rowing and skiing.

Going for academy trials with Fulham.

Additional Information: I am good at skiing; at instructor level, which means I could be an instructor, but I am not old enough. I also play squash for Berkshire.

To become a sports coach or fitness instructor; as long as I am not stuck in an office in front of a computer all day.

Additional Information: I am the Charters Young Ambassador for Sport for 2007-2009. I hold 2 school records in athletics for 200m and 400m and I am in the school football, basketball & athletics teams.

Alexandra Leonard

3-4 mornings and 5-6 evenings. I have been training at this standard for 3 years now.
Highest achievement: Qualifying & competing at GB Championships in 4 events. Also qualifying for ESSA National Schools' final.
Dream/Aspirations:
I would like to win a national final and represent my country.
Other hobbies: Sailing and scuba diving.
Additional Information: I swim for Bracknell & Wokingham SC & I hope to qualify for the Olympic trials.

Charlotte Maxfield

Sport: Netball.
Time spent per week on my sport: 2 hours every other week of constant fitness and netball skills.
Highest achievement:
County Satellite Netball Academy.
Dream/Aspirations:
To be a professional netball player for county and country. I would also like to be a PE teacher.
Other hobbies:
Skiing, swimming, hockey (school) and football (school).
Additional Information: I also play for Wokingham Netball Club. When I first started playing netball, it was my Mum who coached me and she is still coaching the primary school I went to. My primary school team won the Berkshire Youth Games.

Patrick Mooney

Sport: Rugby League.
Time spent per week on my sport:
I spend time conditioning and strengthening my core every day. improving core strength means that I am getting fitter and stronger and improving balance, which reduces the chance of me getting injured.
Highest achievement: Being invited to join the Harlequins RL academy scholarship in August 2006. In August 2007, I was selected to play for the south of England against Cumbria, Wales and NE England.
Dream/Aspirations:
To play professional rugby for Harlequins at Super League level and to be selected to play for Great Britain.
Other hobbies: Football, tennis and golf. I am a member of the Golf Foundation at Foxhills. My handicap is 15.6
Additional Information: I also play blind side flanker for Chobham A team in Surrey.

Jessica Pye

Sport: Athletics - Running.
Time spent per week on my sport:
5 times a week, 1 hour per session.
Highest achievement: Competing in UK Inter-county Cross Country Championships; competing in English Schools Cross Country Championships; reaching the finals of the Southern England Championships in the 1500m.
Dream/Aspirations:
To become an elite runner.
Other hobbies: I play two instruments.
Additional Information: I also help coach a younger group at my athletics club.

Luke Shaw

Sport: Basketball.
Time spent per week on my sport:
2 hours at school; 1½ hours + matches for Guildford Heat Academy. At least 2 hours extra every day at home/school. I also attend training camps during school holidays.
Highest achievement: last season - county tournament against Oxfordshire & Hampshire, was point guard for Guildford U14s Berkshire and received 'Most Valuable Player' & 'Players' Player' awards. I was also in the County Schools Cup winning team at Charters.
Dream/Aspirations:
Next season, to play for the U16s National Team. My overall dream is to play for the Guildford Heat Mens' professional team in the BBL.
Other hobbies: Fishing, golf, season ticket holder at Guildford Heat, I support Liverpool FC.
Additional Information: I also enjoy being on the Young Apprentice Scheme at Charters.
