The school runs a very wide variety of off-site visits for all years including sports fixtures, music tours,
museum and theatre visits, and many trips abroad.

All off-site visits are risk-assessed and checked by the Local Authority before they are allowed to run and the staff in school are regularly trained. Parents and carers are given as much detail as possible before they agree to their child joining a trip. However, please do not hesitate to contact the organiser of the visit if you would like more information.

In your 'New Pupil Information' booklet, you will find a reply slip ‘Charters Sports Physical Education’ asking you to give your permission for your child to participate in a school sports team. We would be grateful if you could return this to us in the envelope provided.

The school offers financial support to help parents and carers who receive benefits. This applies to one visit per pupil to Tirabad and to trips that are part of the school curriculum. It does not apply to visits that run during the holidays or to most of the visits that run in the evenings.
