The first school magazine was issued in 1959. It was designed as a yearly magazine and called ‘The Charter'. It was issued in July and looked back over the previous year’s activities. Since then, the magazine has undergone a number of changes, and Charters News was born in September 1983. In the many years since, it has evolved from an A5 booklet into the format that you see today.

Charters News remains a significant means of contact with parents/carers and with effect from Easter 2010 will be published on a termly basis.
