Parents Council
The Parents Council is made up of a group of parents who meet with members of the School Leadership Team on a regular basis to discuss school issues. Any parent who is interested in becoming a member of the Parents Council is asked to contact Mrs Sharman at the school E: shara011@rbwm.org.
Charters School Association
Parental support is a major strength at Charters School and plays a vital role in the success of our pupils. One of the ways in which you can support the school is to join the many parents, ex-pupils and members of the community who generously donate to Charters School Association. Under this system, a modest annual voluntary contribution is requested from all parents to allow us to provide additional resources and equipment. For more information please click here.
Keep Kids Safe TM
This is a text and email messaging service that we use to advise parents of important issues including school closures and pupil absence.
Please advise us of your mobile telephone number and email address and keep us up to date with any changes by emailing the school on charters@chartersschool.org.uk
Parental Skills
If you have a particular skill that you feel might benefit the school (or you know someone who has) and you would be prepared to volunteer some time, we would love to hear from you. From time to time we need to call upon volunteers to provide expertise in a variety of fields both within class and extra curricular activities, for example:
Sports coaching, information about careers, public speaking, Year 12 work experience placements, arts, craft or drama related skills, poetry & creative writing skills, music specialists, journalists, IT skills etc!
If you would be willing to offer help in any way please email us on charters@chartersschool.org.uk
Charters Hospitality
The Hospitality Team serves refreshments throughout the school year: at parents' evenings, dance and drama performances, curriculum evenings, open days and sports' day. We welcome any help, from parents or carers, days or evenings. Please contact Denise MacDonnell on ext 789 or email macdd007@rbwm.org for further information, or if you would like to join the team. Typically you would be asked to help approx three times a year for an hour and a half at most.
