Charters School library was significantly extended and completely refurbished in 2008.  It provides extensive resources for all pupils and staff including a reference collection, journals and a comprehensive fiction section. 

The library is operated by trained Librarian and is available throughout the day from 8.30 - 4.15pm, except on Fridays when it closes at 3pm.  

The VI Form Library and silent study area is housed upstairs in The Durning Room.  It is equipped with over 50 computers and lap-tops and is supervised at all times.

Online searches for books in the School Library and The Durning Room can be made from any computer in the school via the Charters Intranet and the Internet, using the Library's own dedicated link.
