We would like to offer you and your child a warm and sincere welcome to Charters School. This website is intended to give you information about the school and, combined with the opportunity of meeting us, an idea of the kind of school that Charters is.

We believe in setting the highest possible standards in everything we do. Each pupil at Charters is recognised as an individual and encouraged to develop to his or her full potential. We set high standards of appearance and behaviour, seeking to provide an ordered, happy caring environment.

Charters is an outstanding school and we were delighted to have this recognised in our last inspection and our redesignation as a Specialist Sports College and award of a second specialism in Science. We seek to use our enhanced status to provide opportunities for all pupils to achieve excellence.
