The School, through the School Network Manager and all staff supervising the use of ICT by pupils, will promote positive use of the available resources. Access to the ICT system is provided for the benefit of all pupils. The School expects the system to be used appropriately and in accordance with the School’s Acceptable Use Policy. This policy will be introduced to pupils during their first term. Periodically, pupils logging onto the ICT system, will be asked to confirm that they agree to comply with the School’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Any misuse of the ICT system will result in restriction or removal of access.

The School believes that the benefits of pupil use of ICT, including the Internet and electronic mail, far outweigh any disadvantages and will work closely with parents to ensure the maximum educational benefit of the resources for their children
