FirstClass

FirstClass
FirstClass is a system that has enabled us to create an online learning community that enhances communication (including email) and collaboration between students, teachers, administrators and other members of the school community. First introduced at Charters School in 2002, FirstClass is used in RBWM schools and connects all contributors to the education process within a secure, online environment.

Accessing FirstClass
Every student and member of staff at Charters School has their own FirstClass account. FirstClass is accessed in school using the secure FirstClass client. The system can also be accessed outside school. Clients and Apps are available for a number of platforms and are free of charge.            
           
Client for Windows / Mac PCs and Laptops
The following clients are available to download and install onto Windows or Mac based computer/notebooks:

Windows FirstClass 11 Client (XP, Vista, 7)
Mac OS X FirstClass Client
Mac OS 9 FirstClass Client

Once installed, if you are not able to log in check that the server name fc.rbwm.org is entered (at the login window) under Advanced > Setup > Server.

Android Devices
The FirstClass Mobile app for Android is available to download from the Play store. Search the store for FirstClass Mobile by Open Text Corporation. Once installed, before you login for the first time, you will need to enter the FirstClass server name: community.rbwm.org.

iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch Devices
The FirstClass Mobile app for Mac mobile devices is available to download from the store. Search the store for FirstClass Mobile by Open Text Corporation. Once installed, before you login for the first time, you will need to enter the FirstClass server name: fc.rbwm.org.

FirstClass Web Version
Due to issues with the web version of FirstClass we recommend use wherever possible of a client or app as detailed above. If that is not possible the FirstClass can be accessed using the web client. Click here to be directed to the FirstClass online login page.
