Before School
Pupils are able to access the Dining Hall each morning from 8.05am where breakfast can be purchased. In addition some computers are available for pupils to use to complete homework and coursework.
After School
At the end of the school day Charters provides a safe place for young people to be after school.
From 3pm - 4.15pm: there are a number of sporting and non-sporting clubs open to the different year groups, please click on the links for details. In addition room H14 is open for those who want to use computers; the library is a supervised work area Monday- Thursday for our students in Years 7 -11 and a homework club operates in M9 primarily for children in our Core Support group.
From 4.15pm – 6pm: students in Years 7-11 may join the Sixth Form in the Durning Room where Miss MacDonnell will be pleased to welcome students of all year groups who wish to work quietly, with her support where required.
It is essential that parents have registered and paid for this element of our After School Services. The price is £6 per day (to include a snack) cheques payable to Charters School, half termly in advance.Your child can attend as and when they need as long as there are days in credit.
Please let us know in advance if you are expecting your child to stay with Miss MacDonnell. You can do this by email to macdd007@rbwm.org or by phone T: 01344 624826 x789 any time before 2pm on the day. This will help us plan the resources needed for each session.
