Tamsin Greenway, England International and Surrey Storm Super League netball player was welcomed to Charters School for a coaching session with the Charters netball girls. Tamsin was invited to the school by former Charters student Stephanie Essex who is herself an ex-England International netball player.
Students from Years 9 and 10 were coached by Tamsin Greenway through a series of practices and small games and learnt about her daily training routine, her nutrition and how she stays at the top of her game both mentally and physically.
Mrs Kirstie Hartwell, Head of PE at Charters School commented, “This was an amazing opportunity for the students to be coached by such a high profile international athlete as Tamsin Greenway, the girls worked hard and were able to benefit greatly from the session.”
Bryony Patterson Year 9 said, “The coaching session with Tamsin was fantastic, she worked us really hard and I felt I learnt a lot from her, it was a really great experience”.
