Parental support is a major strength at Charters School and plays a vital role in the success of our pupils. One of the ways in which you can support the school is to join the many parents, ex-pupils and members of the community who generously donate to Charters School Association. Under this system, a modest annual voluntary contribution is requested from all parents to allow us to provide additional resources and equipment. For example in the last few years we have refurbished the Maine Centre: our pastoral hub; purchased new minibuses and more recently created a photographic display of school life in our main corridor using these funds.
We would like to express our gratitude if you are one of the many Charters families who is currently supporting the school in this way. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and makes a significant difference.
Every donation counts, so if you have not previously considered supporting us in this way you may like to do so now.
A minimum donation of £20 per pupil is requested annually which you may choose to donate electronically using the Charters School Association page on the Just Giving website. If you are a UK tax payer please consider adding Gift Aid to your donation. This will mean that for each £20 you give, it will be worth £25 to us.
Alternatively, you can donate by standing order, please click here for a Bank Mandate form along with a Gift Aid declaration.
One off donations may also be made by cheque payable to Charters School Association with the name of your youngest child at Charters School and tutor group written on the back. Again, please consider adding Gift Aid. Please return your cheque and Gift Aid declaration to the Returns Box in reception in an envelope marked ‘Charters School Association’
We are committed to providing the best possible opportunities for your children to realise their potential, both in lessons and in extra-curricular activities. The current excellent provision of opportunities would not have been possible without the donations made by our parents, ex-pupils and other friends of the school. Thank you for your continued support.
