Admissions Procedure

Charters School is heavily oversubscribed and full in all year groups from 7 - 11. For an application form for admission to existing Years 7 - 11, please contact RBWM Educational Admissions office on 01628 798888 or via their website www.rbwm.gov.uk

Following submission of your completed application form to RBWM you will receive a standard letter advising you that Charters is full in your chosen year group but offering you the option to appeal. The appeal process takes several weeks and you will receive fourteen days notice of your appeal date.  Appeals are heard by an independent Appeals Panel which considers each case on its own merit.  A copy of your application form will be sent to the school and you will be placed on a waiting list for the relevant year group.

For entry into Charters in Year 7 your child will be given an application form at the start of Year 6 in primary school.  The closing date for submission of application forms is in October.  Most places in Year 7 are filled by catchment area pupils.  Any remaining places are allocated by the Borough working down the list of admissions criteria.

The Co-Headteachers run regular tours of the school on selected dates starting at 9am and lasting an hour.  Please phone 01344 624826 selecting option 0 to speak to our receptionist to book onto a tour.
