Moving on to Further Education or Employment
We are proud of the number of our students who leave us for university: some are the first person in their family to do so. This is achieved by individual support and informed advice from our experienced team of Sixth Form tutors who are given additional time to do this vital work.
Charters Aspiring High Programme is an initiative designed to cater for the increasing numbers of very high achieving students who need to be stretched further in order to have access to Oxford or Cambridge or other top universities, or who are aiming for medicine, dentistry or veterinary courses. Please click on the link in the blue Further Information box for more information.
We encourage all students to complete an application for Further Education through UCAS so that they have a choice even if they are also considering employment on leaving the Sixth Form. We work closely with Careers Adviza to put students in touch with local opportunities and encourage some part-time work as experience for the future.
We run information evenings for parents, whole days of support for the students and we are available on email to offer advice for the future too. For detailed information on going to University, choosing the right course and funding please click on the links below.
